The therapy space is a sacred container and I find it an honor and privilege to work alongside my clients. My initial training is from a psychodynamic orientation in which I consider all factors and experiences that have led to where you find yourself at this moment. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches including Internal Family Systems, attachment theory, EMDR, and mindfulness for anxiety-reduction and trauma. I have a special interest in working with individuals who are looking to recover from the never-ending cycle of perfectionism as well as a focus on helping those looking to heal from shame and develop a loving relationship with themselves, their body, food, and movement.

Therapy is inherently political, and my work is grounded in a commitment to social justice and aimed at dismantling oppressive systems of colonialism, racism, capitalism, and heteropatriarchy. I am dedicated to advocating for the liberation and protection of marginalized communities, including Black, queer, trans, and gender-nonconforming people, as well as immigrants and migrants, who face systemic violence and exploitation.  Additionally, my framework is based in the body liberation movement and HAES / Health at Every Size.

I believe that YOU are the expert, and I am the guide to help you find the answers you are seeking. Therefore, the goals of treatment will be specific to your needs, and will aim at helping you to feel more freedom and connection in your life. I use warmth and humor to create a safe and comfortable space for you to explore and understand yourself on a deeper level.
